This Privacy Policy explains how Rootspace (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Rootspace application and related services (the “Service”).
By using Rootspace, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Name (if provided)
Authentication credentials via third-party OAuth providers (e.g., Google, Apple, etc.)
Journal entries
Reflections
Responses to prompts
Linked subjects, entities, and relationships created within the Service
Subjects and entities identified through automated natural language processing
Device type
Browser type
Interaction data
Log data
Analytics data related to the landing page
We use third-party services for infrastructure, hosting, analytics, authentication, and product improvement.
These services may collect limited technical information necessary to operate the Service.
2. How We Use Information

Provide and operate Rootspace
Store and organize your journal entries
Generate visualizations and relational structures
Analyze aggregated usage patterns
Maintain system security and integrity
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Model Training & Aggregated Data
We may use anonymized and aggregated data derived from user content to:
Improve Rootspace
Develop, train, and refine machine learning models
Generate statistical insights
Where reasonably possible, such data is de-identified and does not identify individual users.

User content is stored in encrypted databases.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information.
However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:
We will delete associated personal data within a reasonable period
Backup copies may persist temporarily
Rootspace does not currently provide data export functionality.
6. No Active Monitoring of Content
We do not actively monitor or review journal entries.
We may access or disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
Rootspace relies on third-party service providers, including but not limited to:
Authentication providers
Hosting and database providers
Analytics services
Infrastructure and security providers
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
8. Children’s Privacy
Rootspace is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
